Decorated to resemble a ship, this is a fantastic new Dublin music venue. Worth visiting just to check out the decor. But at its best when there's live music. Fantastic sound system. Excellent selection of beer. Fast friendly service at the bar. Highly recommended. Gerry Fish gives a regular performance here. Not to be missed.
Good beers selection, friendly staff and cool tunes... and that's all before the live entertainment even starts 7/7!! Funky nautical theme only adds to the sum of it.
One of the coolest bars I’ve been to in Ireland! Great vibe and you feel like you’re inside the belly of a giant ship! Great stage towards the back for gigs that looks like a shipwrecked pirate ship! Visited during their Oktoberfest week, great music and German bier on tap
Designed to look like the inside of a ship its long and narrow design makes it feel quite big, with it being hard to find a place to get cosy or have privacy but it has its charms. While it can be quiet midweek it picks up a lot on weekends when it often plays host to cover bands or local bands. They don't make food in-house but have an order in service setup for the excellent Manifesto pizza up the road. Good for a pint and a quick bite locally.
Great live music venue with friendly staff and good selection of beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages. We asked could we bring in some ice-cream and had it while we watched the match on the big screen. I was a little surprised to hear that some people wouldn't even bother to ask before eating on the premises. Would you do that at home? What about some one else's house?? Just good manners if you ask me.
Bar which resembles old wooden sailing ship. They have a little stage and invite interesting bands also from abroad. Have you tried their rum? They have a lot homemade rum at least I was told its homemade. Its lively and I will come again.
Fine spot. Has a fine selection of beer and a huge outside area dedicated to us smokers. Bravo!
The location is stunning and definitely a must visit! The beer selection is rather standard. Still good for taking pint
Just back from seeing China Crisis at The Bowery, first time there won't be the last. Love the design of the Bar and a great venue for a truly intimate gig..
