The Book Inn may be small compared to others, but it still makes you wonder without feeling crowded, it makes you feel like you are provided with a sense of warmth and security and having a cafe at the back allows you to relax and to take an opportunity to take a glimpse of your purchases.
It may not have countless shelves but it is provided with a wide range of subjects you can get curious towards, multiple stories to get lost into and to find resources which can trigger creativity.
This can also be a place where you can unexpectedly meet some people who have similar or related tastes in books, which can spark a conversation and possibly a new friendship.
Do not judge the books by their covers, like do not judge the shop by its size.
If you are looking for something but cannot find it, the lovely workers will then help find it for you online with decent prices and kind delivery.

Love visiting this book shop with a lovely little tea shop at the back. Homemade fare is always good and tasty. Highly recommended.

Lovely little book shop, really nice to still see a independent book shop still around. Great service which they managed to get quite an unusual book i wanted in for the next day and apparently can get most books in for the next day as well. Very impressed will definetly be returning. 

Just to comment on the previous review i also had a scone and coffee in the cake bar at the back of the shop and thought the service was great and was reasonably priced and the scone was definitely not stale in fact was one of the best i've had. My Mum had a slice of the vegan oreo cake which she said was amazing!! and to compare to "stop the world" the cakes here are far better as i personally found at "stop the world" they looked nice but were dry and lacked flavour

Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to buy a book and have a read while you grab a bite to eat. Don't always have what I'm looking for but are always able to order what I need and I am contacted as soon as it's in the shop. Which is never a long wait.
