Here at The Book Box we offer a quality range of children's and adult fiction and non-fiction to our local community. But we don't stop there- we're passionate about three things- literacy, creativity and community- and strive to fulfil these principals by offering exciting and innovative provisions to our customers...
Over the weekends, we open up our pottery painting cafe downstairs, where you can wile away an afternoon designing and painting ceramics over a cup of tea or ice cream. We're also using our pottery painting facilities to create a community mural on the wall of our building- come along and paint a tile to add your own touch to Chatsworth Road's history!
Then there are our literary events downstairs and in our garden - these range from our very own children's book festivals to author readings and illustration workshops. We want to make literature accessible and inclusive!
