Went for the medium fish and chip supper . The staff were super chirpy and polite . Fish was cooked to order . Good sized portions .My only gripe and it's a small one and it is really only a small one , is that the fish was a bit greasy , not swimming in it but enough to mention . I still give it a solid 5 stars for the excellent service . Whisked them away and ate them down by the very picturesque harbour which only enhanced the flavour.
I got Gluten Free Fish & chips here after phoning a few local chippies who didn’t do gf. I can recommend good service too. Forgot to take photo until I had eaten most of it as was rather hungry. Parking outside so easy to get to.
Best fish & chips ever ! Fish full of flavor , batter perfectly crispy , chips beautifuly soft , not soggy , and order ready bang on time , really THE only place to go
We regularly use go here when we fancy a chippy tea and the quality is always great. Food is always fresh, well cooked and portion sizes are great. The prices are really reasonable as well. The menu has the usual items you would expect but is expanding with a few unexpected new items to try. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience.
What can I say.....for a chippy that goes the extra mile.....The Boddam Chip Shop does just that. My wife can't eat food cooked in dripping so the chippy did here Scampi Supper in a wee vegetable oil frier with no questions asked. Maxine was extra special and all the girls working hard as a team. I had a large fish haddock supper and it was braw. Piping hot....great chips and fish was fresh and well cooked. Great value and if I'm up here again I'm hot footing it to the Boddam Chip Shop. Also my wife loved the scampi wholetail supper.

You can fry everything, we have learned here and it is delicious. Absolute recommendation! It feels fresher I do not believe it and you will receive friendly.
I would have to drive 3 hours to be able to get this chippy again but let me tell you, it would be worth it. The north must be where the good chippys are because I haven't managed to find one even remotely as good, further down. Portions are generous and the price is reasonable. The variety of menu is astounding, southern fried chicken lovely same with salt and pepper chicken. Battered sausage is usually a game of roulette for me, I love it but the sausage can be not so nice but it was a win tonight. The batter is crisp with a little chew in the best way and nothing is swimming in grease. The chips are the same, dry dry dry, why don't you live closer to me. The fish is, according to the recipient beautiful fish isn't my thing. I will dream about this chippy. No photos I'm afraid, I couldnt wait to munch.
One of the best fish suppers I have ever had. Fish very fresh and lovely crispy batter.
One of the better fish and chips dishes I've tasted while I visited Aberdeen and Peterhead.
