This must surely be the gem in Littlehamptons crown. A beautiful little riverside cafe with indoor and outdoor areas. The whole place is attractively decorated and very comfortable. The best thing about it is the food, it is excellent. I eat in many places, I am vegetarian and allergic to garlic which can make eating out difficult. Each time I have been to the Boathouse they ave been exceptionally helpful and have even cooked dishes which were not on the menu just so that I could eat. The quality of the food is equal to any of the large well known restaurants and the staff are kind, helpful and care about their customers. They also have some themed evenings and on Mothers day provided a first class lunch with musical entertainment as well, all at a very reasonable cost. So well done Boathouse, and for those of you who haven't been, you are missing out!

Delicious!!! We had the tapas and it was yum. The cod cheeks were amazing and we eyed up other diners dishes enviously wishing we also ordered those too. Lovely food and lovely service, great price. Would come back again if I am in the area!!!!

We recently celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at The Boathouse. Julie and her staff looked after us and our guests making our afternoon relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you Julie. X

One of those few places you don't want too many people to find out about 😉 I eat there every Sunday and would not go anywhere else. Service is always Excellent, food is beautifully prepared, presented and of the highest quality.
