Absolutely loved our stay, room was lovely, spotless and very cosy, food was fabulous and loads of it, staff extremely friendly and very welcoming, all very well priced, well definitely stay there again and will recommend to my friends, thank you Board Inn

There can never be an acceptable excuse for frozen chips. Had farmer's platter with tasteless sausage, supermarket pork pie and supermarket scotch egg. Assembled not produced. Poor effort. 3 stars because the beer was very good otherwise nada.

Really good friendly service from all the staff. The food portions were generous and my Wensleydale cheese sandwich included big chunks of delicous local cheese. My wife's ham baguette was good quality and the chips and soup were both decent. They were great with our kids and  there were 4 decent ales on. Would recommend.

Fantastic welcome and lovely home cooked food. Highly recommended as a base for some walking or a stopover on the Pennine Way
