Decided to visit here based on the good reviews but was left slightly disappointed. The main concern was the lack of crispiness of the batter. The batter on the fish was soft and the chips were pale. Overall it tasted ok but that's because I really fancied a chippy. I'd expect more for over £20 for 1 large and 1 medium cod and a large bag of chips with 2 small curry sauce.
This chip shop is very good, the fish and chips are delicious.nThe only chip shop that we know of that is open on a Sunday, serving good chips, that is so handy.nThey also do delivery.nWe wish it was closer to where we live. n
Ordered a delivery. Kebab meat and chips with salad and sauce.nWell it arrived and the chips were barley warm ,hardly any kebab meat, the salad was in a plastic bag and the sauce was in a small container, l have never had a kebab like this before it's always been everything on the kebab so the sauce soaks through , never again.
Got served straight away. Mini fish and chip special which included a can of pop and a choice of mushy peas/curry sauce. Tasted beautiful. Good value.nBonus they're open on a Sunday evening where most are shut
Great chippy. Food was really good and they do orange chips which is my absolute favourite. Would defo be coming back here
