The tall manager working today 11/12/2025Rudely and randomly approached my table when we could have been pulled to the side and loudly said ''You need to leave after you have finished your food'' with confusion i asked why and he said ''for laughing at other customers''.nnFirstly i was with a small group of my colleagues and we where enjoying our time - of course we will have a laugh.nnSecondly how can you approach someone with no facts and be so rude to a customer? this manager is a total disgrace to a nice pub and needs to learn how to properly approach people with manners.nnI cant explain how confused and angry this manager has made me, i have been to hundreds of pubs all over the country and have never been told to leave a pub for laughing.nnI've been going to this pub most weeks the last year and all the staff and managers are all friendly and have good manners except for this one . Thank you for ruining my lunch hour , you humiliated me in front of my colleagues.nnAnd to clarify i would never laugh at anyone this feels like primary school stuff, manager clearly cant do this line of work
One of the better Spoons. Not too big and toilets are on the same level as the bar. A good selection of real ales and surprisingly real ciders. Prompt efficient service via the app
It was very clean and tidy food was served promptly and it tasted good. It was very quiet review is for a Thursday 9.30 ish. There's a disabled parking space over the road but only room for 1 car
We had a very pleasant visit today. Cannot beat the prices for breakfast. Service was quick all round.
Not my favourite pub. Acoustics are terrible. Coffee machine out of order. The so called ramen noodle turned out to be a soup loaded with lots of noodles with a few coriander leaves floating around and a few tiny bits of shredded carrots. All the other veggies as described on the menu were missing. Not a happy experience tbh.
