It’s a difficult place to find, sporting only an inconspicuous door with no sign, true to the secret nature of the war time Operations which went on at Bletchley. The games inside are good and not too easy, requiring some though. Service is very good and they help you with any issues you may have. It has a nice authenticity about it, adding to the fun. Drinks are provided in the prepaid £35 and are decent, though nothing special. I think the drinks were lacking. They weren’t craft cocktails like you may find in a serious cocktail bar, though they weren’t bad. We had a great night and if you go with expectations of having fun, not hoping for drinks at a top standard you will not be disappointed.

Now we all know that London is not short of speakeasies and definitely not short on bars so how does one stand out from the crowd anymore? Enter The Bletchley. Think speakeasy meets escape room set in World War 2. Once you arrive you must put your army jacket on and get into character because you will be briefed to complete two very important missions during your stay at The Bletchley. You have an Enigma machine (which were used in World War Two) with a set of headphones and are surrounded by all sorts of codes and pictures. Obviously my main concern was taking too long to complete the task and not having a drink! Do not fear agents, you are presented with a welcome cocktail on arrival. Phew. Now I don’t want to give too much away because the best bit about The Bletchley is the code breaking and the whole experience and I would not want to ruin that. A few teasers – you get to specify smells and tastes to your liking, you need to break codes (obviously), you need to come up with a good Agent name and you must radio through your answers. You are then presented with your reward – two cocktails to your unique taste! The Bletchley, based on the King’s Road, is absolutely worth a visit! It is unique and creative , perfect for small and big groups, team bonding outings, and date nights. The best news is that the experience comes at a very reasonable £34.99 per person which includes 3 cocktails!

This was an AMAZING experience. The setup is brilliant and the level of challenge is just right. We were blown away by the creativity and quality of drinks. And to top it all, kuddos to the service who play along and make the night even more enjoyable. Definitely definitely recommend to everyone.

Nice experience however like all escape rooms/code breaking events they are rigged for the less intuitive. We quickly worked everything out after the first test and it was quite repetitive. The drinks take a fairly long time to come and you are limited to staying for 2 hours only. I would suggest going for the experience and with a large group like 3+

Sadly we were really disappointed with this experience. I'd booked it for a birthday suprise and felt embarrassed I did in the end. Service wasn't great and the cocktails are not really drinkable! One of the machines to do the task was also broken. When we gave this feedback about the drinks on the night the staff were quite grumpy about giving us new ones and never came near us after delivering replacements - not even to check they were okay. We didn't drink two of our three rounds of cocktails and so we just left without anyone even acknowledging that we clearly were not enjoying them. I did try to look for staff at the end and there was no staff around - at 10.30pm on a Friday night. I was also told we'd get a free shot for the birthday guy and girl but no one even said happy birthday never mind the shots. The idea of this experience in theory is great but I wouldn't go again and nor would I recommend it to anyone else (sadly).
