Came here for first time today on Good Friday. Service was excellent, all the girls serving us were lovely. 2 vegans were pretty well catered for, we had chickpea curry minus the chickpeas as they had none but still delicious with lots of veggies. The meat eaters enjoyed their meals and drinks also. We replaced the naan bread with chips, which were so tasty! I would come here for food again and when I can drink again as the drink menu is extensive.

My two friends and I went into this establishment around 8.30pm last night 29th March for one drink. I went up to the counter and ordered three pints. The bar man took my order, suddenly a red haired man (staff) came out from the back bar and approached us and said “I don’t know ye” to which we said excuse me? He stated it was food only. Then I asked what about all the people sitting at the bar drinking. He said they were waiting for a table. We looked around and seen plenty vacant tables. Then I said we would like some food. He said they were full. – Absolute discrimination!!

Strength: lovely pub to look at, very reasonable food prices with large portions, right music volume level. Weakness food was a bit bland, smoking area is not heated. For a large meal and a couple of drinks highly recommend.

Was so excited to havr a new pub in the locality. the decor is steampunk with lots to look at and a decent pint served by nice staff. Unfortunately the music was being played at an ear splitting level and barman said there was a dj and it wasn't up to him. Had a look around at the clientele and most were in their 40's and trying to converse. A big shame and hope they change their policy. The potential to be a great venue if they would only turn the music down from 11.
