We visited the black horse with our 2 young daughters on a Saturday lunch time... the staff were brilliant and the food was delicious... we had the vegan platter and it was amazing!

Came here with my kids... Burgers are fantastic and staff friendly and welcoming. If you like burgers would highly recommend.

I drove by this pub the other day and forgot to post my comment about what a dump it is. I did actually want to go for a pint but driving past it actually changed my mind. The staff were very rude and the owners a fat arrogant idiot ( that’s me being polite) who thinks he’s great and so do his staff. But the main thing is when I last came here the service was dreadful the beer and larger were just as bad. The toilets were disgusting and I’d never be caught dead in there again. The attitude of the staff was overall very strange. They ran out of decent beer as well In the short time I was there. They then suddenly had some after I brought a rank guest ale which was like drinking Urinal water!!!  The bottles on the bar also looked like they hadn’t been touched since the very first opening of the pub!!

A great venue with variety of food options for all (including vegan). The staff are very amiable and polite too. Ideal for taking business guests for working lunches.

Nice to find tasty vegan options at this pub, told a vegan menu is coming out soon. Rang before hand and was told of the vegan specials. Friendly, helpful and polite, will come again!
