The Black Horse Public House and Restaurant situated in the idyllic market town of Atherstone, Warwickshire.

Story

The Black Horse is a quaint public house and restaurant just a stones throw from Atherstone town centre.

From our eclectic bar, to our subtle candlelit restaurant leading through to glass roofed orangery beaming with light, where the doors open onto our garden terrace where you can go and enjoy the sun and our outdoor marquee where we hold a variety of functions, including weddings, birthday parties, sporting events etc. At the black horse we can cater for most events.

The bar has an old charm and attractiveness relative to the historic hatting town it resides. Walls Adorned with pictures of local historical events, an incandescent wood fire roaring away at the side of the bar. Musical instruments are often taken off the walls by customers who like to share their talents with the rest of the pub bringing a jovial, lighthearted setting to the place. We serve a selection of real ales, wines and lagers along with a selection of many other drinks to keep you hydrated! We host a quiz night on the last Tuesday of every month come and join our friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a bit of a buffet to help keep your concentration high to take the victory!



The Restaurant

Our intention is to offer customers a fresh, locally produced product with an excellent service, all delivered from our Two Rosette Chef. Our delicately designed, seasonal menus including a la carte and bar menu, will pamper your palettes for taste of classic flavours, you will be spoilt for choice with our exquisite real ales and wines to compliment your meal. We have a variety of specials available that change on a daily basis, using fresh local game in winter months. We also offer homemade desserts that are also made daily to sweeten your experience.

Our restaurant has the perfect environment for you to indulge in relaxation, enjoy a drink or two and treat yourselves to a wonderful dining experience which you so rightfully deserve.

Your choice of our Wednesday night grill specials of two Bates' Rib-Eye steaks and a bottle of house wine for £25, our famous Sunday roasts, and our new special cuisine nights there are many offers for you to take advantage of.
