We booked for Sunday lunch and I must say everyone really enjoyed it, The food was well cooked hot and plentiful. In fact a couple of us had to forgo the pudding. We will certainly book it again.

Relaxed and comfortable restaurant in a traditional village setting. Polite, friendly and welcoming staff. Quality of food is outstanding and that was the best 6 course Christmas Dinner I have ever had!!!!

Very average, dated decor, food ok, but nothing special. Staff friendly enough. Definitely overpriced as only option was a set menu, tried to justify it with side dishes of olives and chips as a standard...quite peculiar...and I haven't seen boiled potatoes served like that for a long time. Obviously suits some, but no return trip for us thanks.

We were all delighted with meal here this evening. The choice, the food, the atmosphere and the staff were all excellent and happy to accommodate one of the party who is a trifle fussy. We will certainly come again.
