Fantastic lunch and service. Sat outside in the sun, seating in and out. A lot more than just a cafe. The emporium shop has great range of items for sale, really worth a visit.
Only had cake & coffee but both were delish. Service was excellent - friendly, cherry, helpful. Convinced me of the cake I needed . How do you rate atmosphere? It was unflustered & relaxing which was what I needed after an explore by bike.Food: 5/5
This is A hidden gem and absolutely an exception in the whole area! Great design of the shop attracted us to sit in and enjoy the nice coffee and the pieces of cakes which were fantastic! I hope to see people supporting such small business and I hope to see this place having the same level of service when I am back! Great good menu by the way and you can order ehole cakes here! Thank you!
Our second visit. Though the last one was possibly 10 tears ago. Still a great place for lunch or a naughty cake. Catered for GF and dog friendly. Also great fun looking round the unusual selection of things for sale.
Great place. Excellent chocolate orange and rum cake… dare I say the one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.. and I’ve eaten a lot of cake in my life!
Long standing local supported cafe. The soup/sandwich combo, home made and delicious. Alan has wonderful support with his team. Little gem to be savoured!
This is my "go to" place for coffee and cake. Fantastic selection of cakes including: chocolate roulade, almond and apricot, cheesecake, etc. They also do a nice breakfast. Best place within 10 miles. Only closed on Wednesday.
A wonderful wee coffee shop, restaurant and emporium, full of beautiful gifts and homeware in beautiful Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The staff were welcoming and there was a lovely selection of fresh soups, sandwiches and cakes, all well presented. Well worth visiting.
Best cake in Aberdeenshire I’d say. V friendly staff too. Perfect for an afternoon cuppa after a snowy walk.
Lovely interiour, combined with a shop for classic home-ware. That makes a very nice combination. Hot chocolate is very beautifully decorated. Everything was very tasty. I would certainly come here again.
