I love this pub. Started coming here when I moved to Maldon 2 years ago and have made some really good friends. Always a lovely welcome and great atmosphere. Ellie and her staff always go out their way to make time for me. Sarah's pizzas are just amazing. I'm a fussy sod and I can honestly say that they are the best I've ever had. The beer is always great as well. Keep up the great work team. I love coming to your pub and enjoying your company.nSo if you are in the area or passing make sure you give this little gem a try. You won't be disappointed
A large group of us from the running club met here for a drink on a Sunday evening because it was about the only pub in Danbury that was open on a Sunday.nWe were the only customers in there.nQuite a small pub, but very comfortable and reasonable choice of beers. Staff friendly. Plenty of parking.nWould go again.
Limited range of food but nicely presented. Very friendly welcome. Made a very welcome break from our journey.
Everything about this pub was fantasticnThe staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. It is disabled accessible and the food is very tasty with big portions. We had loaded nachoes, fish pie, steak and kidney pie and fish and chips. To anyone stopping or passing through I thoroughly recommend this place. If I were a local I'd be here all the time.
Went here for new year’s eve for a few drinks, service was absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly staff and great food and drink, 5/5
