Had a nice evening meal on a Wednesday. Friendly atmosphere and the food was great. Service was good and a good selection of drinks.
Really like this place. It has a spacious interior which is nicely furnished and feels very hospitable and relaxing everywhere: unlike some pubs whose extended restaurant area can feel a little less characterful than the main pub. Food was great, massive portions of nicely done Sunday lunch, lovely vegetables, and a really super crumble dessert. A nice friendly team buzzing about.. I have been before and we will for sure be back.
We had a family Christmas Eve Lunch. The setting was perfect. Loved the way they set out our table for 8 people. The staff were excellent! Happy, friendly and so helpful. The meals all came out together in a timely manner. The food was excellent. Varied menu, reasonably priced. The pub side was packed, lots of people getting into the Christmas spirit! My heart went out to the female staff member who only started two days ago! She was particularly helpful and friendly and very professional Recommended
I hired out a private space in The Bell on Saturday for my son's 1st Holy Communion. The space was excellent held ~30 people, it also looked great - modern, in great condition, etc and the food was absolutely delicious. Very good quality pub food, and the team were all so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
Amazing place. Great vibes and very "upper class but still a pub vibe". Very nice staff and delicious food. It's tucked away from most places and we went during the dark so didn't get to see much of the outside. It did have an amazing seating area out the front we didn't get to try because in typical british fashion it was torrential rain, however it looked lovely! Would recommend for those looking for a nice pub tucked away.
Service was incredibly slow and inattentive. The food was far below average we sent back 3 of the adult mains. Fish and chips all batter no fish. We had to ask the team for everything nobody came over to look after us we had to ask them to clear our table, ask for the desert menu. Ask for the kids desserts. You need to do better when people are spending £50 an adult.
Took my mum and dad there. Mum wasn't to sure about where we sitting because there was a mummy dog and a puppy playing rough and tumble. And dad wasn't 100% well so he was a bit cold. 3 drinks came to £16. A bailey rum and coke and a pint. The barman was friendly. It's about pub with pretty of space.
Great pub! Staff there are friendly, welcoming and helpful! Ordered some drinks to my table using their app and they arrived before I'd even read the confirmation message! Very efficient service!
Went to The Bell for a Sunday roast. We were impressed with the starters croquettes and pigs in blankets and dessert Toblerone cheesecake. However we thought the mains were a bit sub standard. There was no choice over how much the beef was cooked, the roast potatoes were not crispy and the gravy was pretty watery. One of our group had a burger and this looked quite nice but I was surprised there was no salad at all on the plate. I did think the service was very good throughout so appreciated this! Nice enough but wouldn’t rush back for a roast.
