nFantastic experience – accessible, welcoming, and delicious!nnI visited The Beefy Boys in Shrewsbury recently and was so impressed. It’s quite a busy restaurant, so I mentioned that I wear hearing aids and asked if they could find us a quieter spot so I’d be able to hear my husband properly. The staff were absolutely brilliant – friendly, understanding, and went out of their way to find the perfect table for us. It made such a difference and I really appreciated how inclusive and thoughtful they were.nnThe food was amazing too – really tasty, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. They also have great gluten-free options, not just for the main meals but even for puddings which most places don’t!. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, so I didn’t have to spend ages checking or worrying about what I could have.nnThe whole place has a great vibe, and the team genuinely care about their customers. We’ll definitely be going back!
It's great food, but I don't really think it's worth the hype. The burgers are deliciously juicy, but that's not rare any more. The chips are awesome. Food came and I wanted salt and ketchup, most burger places have these on the table but not here. I had to go and find some to ask. I was given packets of salt and he told me he would bring me ketchup. Well unfortunately he forgot and finally brought me the ketchup once I'd almost finished my meal. Salt at least should be on every table, and preferably ketchup too.
Visited Beefy Boys today, it’s been a long time on my list! I wasn’t overwhelmed, but I wasn’t underwhelmed either. Quick and attentive service to get us seated, can’t fault that at all. Once seated, we waited a little while for our order to be taken and the server was very good. Food arrived very quickly, I was fully anticipating a lengthy wait time due to how busy it was. Guests had- Dirty Clucker Rave review, very tasty I had- Beanie Boy Very tasty veggie option, I’m not going to lie. I really enjoyed it 3rd guest had Chicken tenders Nothing special, slightly overdone for taste but looking at the website menu, that is how they’re served We also purchased the millionaire fries, very tasty! The only reason I wouldn’t rush to come back, is because it wasn’t absolutely stand out food, but it was a decent enough lunch.
The quality of food was amazing and they had an extensive menu for all preferences! I had the chicken boy and salt and pepper loaded fries. It was packed with flavour and cooked so well. Service was also very quick. Would definitely come again!nnIt’s an extremely busy place so would definitely recommend booking in advance. We did not anticipate how busy it would be, but the staff were able to find us a table later in the day. They were also very friendly and were able to accommodate a dietary request.nnThere is no specific parking for the restaurant. There is a relatively cheap paid parking area about 5 minutes walk from the restaurant.
Late lunch was fab - literally dripping with flavour, we had two different styles, one smashed Oklahoma Boy, one OG Boy thick patty.nPlus the pastrami fries, with a side of Mac & Cheese balls. Our waitress Ruby was really helpful and friendly, so thanks for a lovely lunch!nOur only constructive feedback would be to be better at seating people, as the entrance is quite narrow so the queue of hungry people built up very quickly.
