Nice venue. Reasonable menu. Friendly staff. Some areas for improvement. Bread and dipping oils - good selection of oils but bread was toasted! Toast doesn't soak up anything! Cheese on the pizza had set, rather than stringy. However, the EO2HO discount was welcome. Would go back.
Food was good for a full English. Wanted fried eggs but got poached. Service was poor forgot sauces for food, sugar for the teas and coffees and generally took forever. The atmosphere was nice but I feel it was trying to be too 'hip'.
Nice menu selection, helpful staff and food. However last time we were there the table next to our was changing their baby’s diapers on the top of the table and seemed a tad unsanitary and was a little surprised the restaurant staff didn’t direct the family towards the loos to make the change.
Family meal. Very friendly, service excellent. Food very good. Most importantly we all felt safe they have taken Covid restrictions seriously. But it didn't spoil our meal. Will deffinately go again ASAP
A nice atmosphere with seating outside and restaurant at the rear. Orders taken at the bar. Nice to see the place is filled with baby and toddlers. Familiy originated. Disabled access and toilet. Fe/male toilets on first floor.
Making their own rules up over the substantial meal thing to make more money out of you. One meal = one drink apparently. Have to order more food per drinks round... ridiculous and nowhere else operates like that in tier 2. Just makes their customers feel ripped off & pointless going
Visited with a large family table. Great service, lovely wide varied menu. The chicken and steak cooked in the josper oven were really good and pizzas brilliant. And all at a great value price with the £10 voucher.
Great food and a great atmosphere, the waitress was so amazing and attentive. Will definitely be going again!
I went to Beech House St.Alban many times. Love this restaurant. Steak is very good. Pizza is better. I will come back for sure. But many time that I went, its fully booked. Good for restaurant, but poor me. BTW I still love this.
