The Beast of Brixton delivers, I’m not just talking Deliveroo as I actually collected. Amazing ingredients, beautifully prepared, lovely sidedishes and their gravy is to die for. We’ll definitely be going again.
Good Sunday lunch with lots of sides. The roast beef could have been a bit pinker, but the roast chicken was good and a very decent sized helping. We were too full for dessert. Staff were attentive and helpful, I'll go back again.
Absolute gem of a place. Been here twice for a Sunday Roast - once in person and once for takeaway, both equally fantastic! The lamb especially is gorgeous. Service has also been impeccable both times, your staff are brilliant so big shout out to Jimmy and the Team. Looking forward to supporting this local even more in the future
Great coffee, very friendly local staff who make the neighborhood feel local and connected. Nice decor and relaxed ambiance and yummy breakfast or lunch bites available as well. One of my favorite features of acre lane.
Currently open as a cafe, selling food and drink to takeaway. I popped in on the way home from a walk in Brixton and had a delicious ham & cheese toastie, which they made for me in about 5 minutes while I visited other local shops. I'll be back!
Great place for Sunday lunch. I had The Bird. Recommend that you make a reservation beforehand so you don't end up disappointed. The service was great, the staff equally so. Cozy place, very much a hidden gem that should be visited!
Best Sunday Roast in London by a good measure. James and team are lovely people which makes it all the better. Enjoy!
Snacks options are expensive and not appealing at all. Drinks aswell. Place is small but cosy.
