Great location, room full of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Burgers in restaurant part fantastic.  Will be staying in The Bear next time we are down at  the start of the new year

Staff are amazingly helpful, bedroom was very clean, bed really comfortable, good decor, food ok.  It is a very old character building without double glazing so they give you ear plugs which worked for me ... slept very well.

Popped in for a drink. staff pleasent nice down to earth pub

Clean and tidy. However uncomfortable bed and pillows, so noisy, window out of reach so cant shut it. Trucks go by constantly throughout the night. Toilet doesn't flush.

Best burgers ever and the tempura chilli cauliflower is unbelievable  staff were friendly and helpful well worth a vist
