Wow they’ve really turned this place around.nWhile the service and decor has always been great here the food was really letting everything else down. Having heard they were under new management we visited again and were amazed at the difference in the food.nThis time the food both looked and tasted delicious. It’s a great place for fancy pub food, super convenient location and it’s dog friendly!nThis is a beautiful pub with a lovely beer garden and the staff are wonderful. It’s upmarket but family friendly - the menu is finally doing them all justice. They have games and dog treats and high chairs and the vibe is cosy and clean.nThank you for a great visit.
Really great place for Sunday Lunch. Having had a disappointing one the other week at a different local pub it was a welcome change. Chicken was very well cooked and the breaded parsnip was nice and different
Fantastic! Lovely traditional pub with great food, but what set it apart for us was the service. We received a warm welcome on arrival and Nelly, our server, was super friendly and engaging throughout. We’ll definitely be back!
Popped in with friends this evening and enjoyed a few glasses of delicious mulled wine.nWhat a great pub!nThe fire was roaring, the staff were all really friendly and the atmosphere was great!nWe didn't eat on this occassion but the menu looked fabulous and I will certainly be back soon to give it a try.
