A character filled old inn in a beautiful market town. Beyond the town is beautiful countryside, stunning hills and ancient places.
Nice place, very popular. Like a rabbit warren inside - lots of rooms which make it feel a bit less busy and more relaxing. Food is good. Dog friendly inside too and the garden is lovely on a sunny day. Car park is out the back and a bit tight!
Visited during Covid - Excellent food, wine and beer. Service prompt and friendly. Best place to eat in Crickhowell. You can not go wrong.
Fantastic food. Well worth it and felt so safe there. Will definately be going back.
Loved the beer garden round the back. Dog friendly. Great food great service!
Large spacious bars with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy a drink and food. The burger I had for lunch was extremely tasty, service was good with pleasant staff.
A lovely hotel with great comfortable rooms and beds. Nice bathroom with good shower. The pub of the hotel is of excellent quality and service, good variety of beers including pale ales. The food was excellent, had a roast and my wife the lamb, all good. This is how I imagine a good pub/hotel experience.
Room was comfy and clean but food was rather average for dinner and poor breakfast.
Still one of Britain's best for hospitality & customer service - and Covid-safe in these trying times!
