Perfect location for our stay. Service was amazing. Only stayed for 2 nights and clean bedding each day. Reception staff very helpful. Restaurant is fabulous, excellent service, yummy food and very reasonable prices. Markets in the square Saturday and Sunday. Sunday was French Market, so many delicacies to choose from. Centrally situated, perfect for exploring the town which has much to see. We will be back.
Haven't used the hotel but have eaten there a few times. It's not the most wheelchair accessible place but they will accommodate you. The staff tend to be a mix of higher paid managerial staff and school kids, so bare this in mind when ordering. It does not affect the food or the quality of service however. The food is generally speaking pretty good if a little on the pricey side. The atmosphere is nice enough. It's got a sort of old-fashioned tea room feeling to it.
This a lovely place for good food, went with friends for a Christmas get together. Lovely restaurant away from the bar area, service was brilliant and attentive and the food was spot on as usual. Had a great evening and nothing rushed at allService: 5/5
Have never stayed in the hotel but regularly dine there or pop in for a drink after shopping The food is great and the menu varied, always excellent service. The bar is comfortable and friendly, just what a pub should be.Service: 5/5
Friendly staff, complimentary cake with coffee, cosy smaller quieter room available if needed for sound. Busy but with a positive atmosphere. Comfy sofas, chairs or upright chairs & tables. Pleasant coffee stop!
I have to edit my review from 3 years ago. I have stayed here 3 times now but the last two times, the rooms have been abysmal. Which is disappointing at the first time I stayed, I stayed in a beautiful room. The service, restaurant and bar are all 5 star every time though.
Excellent venue. We didn't actually stay at the hotel but had a lovely meal on a Friday evening, very reasonably priced and excellent quality, a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.Rooms: 4/5
Fabulous place for good food with plentiful portions in a relaxed atmosphere . Great service too . We go very often . First class . Highly recommend Rooms: 5/5
Came for food which was lovely. But odd they don't offer Gluten Free chips in a separate fryer but other than that all good
Can't rate the rooms as only stopped for lunch here, but the food and service were particularly good, the coffee, exceptionally so. Food & drinks: Very good food at a reasonable price. The coffee is exceptionally good.
