Really nice place in stunning surroundings, we had a dog with us and she was made very welcome. Food was really good!! The only problem I had was that I kept asking for the windows to be open on the alfresco bit of the restaurant mainly for my dog cos it was like being in a greenhouse and I really wanted to stay longer and enjoy the desserts but it was just way too hot in there so decided it was best just to leave. Will definitely be back, just hope someone next time listens to us.
Lovely food and stunning views. Had delicious seafood stew. Slightly overpriced food and menu could do with a bit more choice. But overall well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
While the hut staff were friendly and welcoming, the overall experience wasn't so good. We ordered our coffee which was OK but when ordering our food we had to use a QR code to order which to me was very confusing. I had a latte but it wasn't very warm. It looked nice but just imagine how it felt to have a lukewarm coffee. After ordering we waited for a staggering 45 minutes for the staff to take our cups off the table. When the food arrived, my crab spaghetti was incredibly salty. As soon as I put it in my mouth I instantly knew something wasn't right. I was incredibly shocked at the price of this meal £24 I think that this is way too overpriced for what is delivered on the plate. After this I had to have another one as I thought I was gonna metaphorically throw up from all the salt and had to wash it down with a drink. This time around it was much better as you could taste all the ingredients in the dish with just the right amount of salt. I'll be honest, I DO NOT recommend visiting this restaurant as the staff spent their time walking around and not checking if your food was OK.
can't really comment on the food as we just popped in for cake and tea which were delicious. Sadly, the cake I wanted was out of stock, but my back up choice was lovely. Interior is warm and inviting, with big windows outlooking the beach. Dog friendly.
This was honestly one of the loveliest nights of my life. Yummy food, wonderful to see the sunset at the end of a hot August day, and an unexpected delight. Great staff, food and location. Can’t wait to come back.
The service was really good and the food was good too. It’s a perfect place to relax and look out onto the beach with the most amazing views
A great pit spot for lunch or a quick snack fantastic happy staff all happy to help and accommodate everyone even pets supplying water as required. The menu has something for everyone and embracing technology using QR on mobiles to choose and select what you want - I loved it…….. I will always pop in here and they make the best coffee too‍‍
Popped by for some lunch, and it was faultless. The location was stunning, sea level views. Both me & my partner had fish and chips and it was great quality, table service was top notch. Really liked the Menu idea - all you have to do is scan the QR code on your phone and you can view the full menu from there! Most definitely will come and eat here again.
We had a fantastic lunch here yesterday. The staff were brilliant and attentive and made us feel exceptionally welcome. The view is beautiful even in the torrential rain! Would recommend and if we didn’t live 600 miles away would come here regularly
The prices are a absolute joke for the quality of food on offer. £16.50 for fish and chips. £5 for a small piece of stale bread. A group of 4 of us only had mains and it came to £140! Including a rather sneakily added 10% service charge. What service was this sorry. I had to look at the menu on my phone. Tell people about the service charge as you hand over the crippling bill. Turn the lights up a bit. It's bloody dark in there and drop the qr code. If I go out for food I don't want to have to stare at my phone
