"The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills all day every day on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. This pub has step-free access."

It doesn't seem much from the outside, but walk in and the atmosphere is very warm, inviting and relaxing. Visited on 1st Feb 2022. The log fire was lovely and warm, the whole place was spotless, including the toilets. Had a delicious perfectly cooked egg bacon and cheese breakfast muffin, you've got to try it. The egg was properly cooked, not like a slab of rubber like a certain American fast food place. Coffee and hash browns tasted better as well. The coffee had unlimited refills you don't get that at a certain American.... you know where I mean But the single thing that really made this place sparkle without a shadow of doubt was the staff. They were brilliant. I can't single one person out because they were all just sooo good.
It's well located along the High Street and its a great historical building. They have seatings outside and also the lovely roof garden. Very friendly service staff and everything is good during our visit Definitely worth a visit for a drink and explore the building
Absolutely a dump. Table dirty and when asked if we could have it cleaned and dirty glasses and crisps wrappers left from previous customers server just turned and walked away. Unfortunately will never step foot in the place again
Visited here with my son, his friend and his friends mum. We found a table and ordered our food separately but the member of bar staff knew we were together so did our orders straight after each other before the drinks to try to enable our food to come at the same time it worked. Tables were clean, food was fast, tasty and not expensive. We arrived right at the beginning of lunchtime but by the time we left 45 mins later it was pretty busy. Would definitely go here again and the bonus that's it's family friendly as well
It's a Wetherspoons so you know what you're getting to an extent. Good selection of beers and spirits, decent enough food for the money etc., but it's a lovely old building that's been sympathetically decorated - some nice little booths and stuff. Nice roof terrace as well if the sun's out and just a chilled vibe about the place.
A very interesting venue, friendly staff very quick service. Dining is on two levels in this converted cinema and upstairs there is a roof terrace. The hand-pulled real ales on offer during our visit were spot-on quality wise, and a good selection of light and dark beers.
Great atmosphere. Staff can be a little rude and lazy at times. But welcomed in from very chatty polite security. Food hasn't always been great however this is a Weather Spoons so that's to be expected.
Clean and tidy establishment. Food was nothing to write home about but edible. Didn't particularly appreciate the member of staff who constantly stared at my wheelchair bound sister while she was being fed her lunch. Won't be rushing back here.
A great atmosphere and fast service from ordering to table.excellent quality service from start to finish. very polite and friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy inside and out. Would recommend to others.
Absolutely dreadful. We had a meal there today 4 of us. The hallumi burgers didn't taste like hallumi which is normally salty, the tuna panini came with no chips or salad, the thin burgers came with chips you could actually count and no salad. Even the cappacino was weak obviously cut down on the coffee content. All in all very disappointing and will not be returning.
