What a great place. We were recommended to visitbthe Barn Farm for lunch and were not disappointed. Lovely menu, with some rather nice deserts, teas and coffee's to accompany the menu !! A great find....service was very good. Setting lovely bit quirky, but really nice. Loved the open Beef Sandwich...a special on Saturday 18th June. Thanks Julian & Amanda
Lovely afternoon tea, beautiful inside and out we've been in for breakfast/brunch and lunch never been disappointed. Nice to sit inside and out always a lovely food always a treat
Fantastic food and great portion sizes. The salad is really good and not just a filler to make the plate look full. Not cheap but very reasonably priced providing great value. The atmosphere is really relaxed, friendly with a family vibe. There is plenty of seating both inside and out and the staff are very nice. They were nicely busy for a late Sunday afternoon and the food arrived swiftly. We will definitely be making a return trip in future.
The Barn Cafe is a wonderfully pleasant environment where we spent a whole afternoon devouring a delicious Cream-tea. It is the perfect spot for a tranquil catch-up with some old friends. The food is very tasty with generous portions as well as prompt and friendly service. The amenities are well kept and the parking is free. My friends and family would thoroughly recommend The Barn Cafe and can't wait until next time.
Really polite staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The outside space is lovely and sheltered from the sun, and has lovely feature tables, plenty of plantlife, and very well maintained facilities as well. The menu was extensive enough to provide for everyone in our group. The only complaint I had is that two of us ordered a full english breakfast and asked for one part of it each to be omitted from the order, but both still received that item. Fortunately we'd only asked for this out of preference rather than allergy or intolerance requirements. This was just a simple mistake though so not a major thing, and I'd still definitely recommend you go as it's a delightful place to eat.
Situated in a farm yard and surrounded by old farm buildings with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside, you probably have to book to sit indoors. They were doing very goo trade for a Wednesday lunchtime. I had the salmon and cream cheese sandwiches which came with tortilla chips and a dressed salad. It was very nice and they didn't skimp on the salmon. The coffee I had was very nice too. The staff were pleasant and everything came to the table in good time. There are a few boutique shops and a small garden center utilising the outbuildings of what seems to be a working farm. There is a good size parking area as well.
Passing by keep meaning to drop in, and this time I did. Busy on a Sunday Tarragon chicken With a latte £11 so reasonably priced considering prices in similar places in Dorset Dog friendly A+
Lovely experience! The place is great, cozy and inviting, the food is absolutely delicious and very fairly priced, i went with a party of 3 and we spent around £30 total, which was great! Their ingredients are fresh, which makes a great difference, the variety of choices is also really good, and we had the pleasure of trying the daily specials! There was a small mishap, but was quickly and easily rectified, so we were more than happy with the service overall!
Stopped off for lunch. Should have booked as it was busy. Staff v helpful. Good range of dishes ranging from breakfast timed availability, light lunch and lunch. Great range of cakes. Plenty of parking. Toilets outside in courtyard area but clean and tidy. Seating inside or outside. Would recommend booking as it is very popular.
Always heard good things about this cafe. Needless to say, it was as good as expected! I had a delicious toasted panini with Brie and bacon and a flat white. The flat white was a bit weak so I mentioned it to staff and they remade it for me with extra espresso and a smile on their face - very good customer service, they even asked if the flat white was good enough after making and if not, they would have remade again! The whole team are young but have great attention to detail and respect for their customers that you don’t often get across the board. Very happy with my visit, will be back again!
