Husband and i went for a full body massage, receptionist was lovely. Gave us a tour, gym looks well equipped. Plenty of workout classes on offer. Not enough loungers by the pool, quite on entry but started to get busy. Leah done my massage and she was brilliant, she really knew what she was doing. Treatment rooms a bit cold. All in had good time. My only gripe is the older lady with the white hair shouting bye as we left because we didnt say anything as other people were speaking.
Went for a spa day and never been to Bannatyne's before. At arrival we were told we'd have to pay for 'a' towel. No dressing gowns offered. The steam room, sauna and jacuzzi are nice. On arrival for spa treatments no one spoke to us for 15 minutes. Air conditioning was cold. In the room I was cold with just a large towel covering me. I had to ask for another cover but it was still cold and the girl's hands were cold too. I like to be warm when having a spa treatment. The facial and body massage was nice.
Great gym, classes are amazing Zumba especially, pool is big with a sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi and they have a big cafe area with lots of food and drink options. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The best thing is the spa, though - really affordable with a big range of treatments, love it!
Myself and a friend booked a spa day here. It was fantastic the girls were so friendly and the massage was spot on and really helped relieve muscle pain. I was really impressed with the facilities as well! Can’t wait to come back!
Great health club with all the latest machines. Classes, pool, sauna and steam room only downside is the weekend opening hours and it’s the most expensive gym locally but does have the best facilities
The staff were very friendly and take you a tour so you know were everything is and how to use your wristband. The facilities include a Large gym with lots of equipment which is all very well maintainedno squeaking treadmills, A good size pool with a section for fast swimmers and one for relaxing/families, a health barcafe that sells hot and cold food and a wide selection of drinks and shakes.
Great place. Lovely, friendly staff. Gym has two studios and full weights and machine areas. Nice cafe and lovely swimming pool. Also has sauna, steam and jacuzzi.
Its great, clean, tidy and pleasure to visit, accept in January when a lot of people get vouchers to give it a try and as a result it is far to busy.
Not as good as Darlington & Edinburgh spa unfortunately. Staff aren't very welcoming. No relaxation room. Treatment room was colder than usual. Massage was mediocre compared to past experiences, Won't be back.
Very relaxing and great massage options. Clean health suite facilities including sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Would recommend it
