I wasn't sure what to expect from this shopping centre and even now reflecting on the visit I'm not sure it delivered. I went a few days before Christmas and it wasn't very busy which surprised me. There are a few high street brands which you expect but also so independent retailers doing fine things - the whisky shop and butcher are notable. The café / restaurant with seating near M&S is also worth visiting- nothing extraordinary but everything is fresh and tasty.

This shopping centre is a joke. It's like there is beggars every time you walk in. Charity workers who are paid on commission making you feel bad because you say no. You walk in a shop and walk out and the other one asks you for money. I give to charity and think it's intimidating the way they are. It's all Christs you've never heard from. There is a wee creepy guy in asda see if you can spot him. The butchers and staff are brilliant. They do the best hot rolls ever. I always see the worker in timpsons smiling aswell. Over all the avenue is rubbish. This is Newton learns we are supposed to be better than people. Asda has never got anything and the wee creep always put me off.. thank you for saying it's really average. The clothes are over priced and never knew styles

Good shopping centre with M&S and Asda at opposite ends. Between these shops are a variety of nice boutiques and a fab butcher shop. I like the book shop first then the coffee shops before remembering why I was visiting in the first place.
