We are local and use the Atlantic each time we visit Portreath. We have always been happy with the food quality and value. We ordered fish and chips regular to take away, we were told we couldn't sit in the main cafe while waiting even though we had purchased a drink! We had to wait on the take away side which was quite honestly dirty.  We ordered fish and chips regular although delicious the fish was cut in half and was so thin and mostly batter, very disappointed   Parking: Council car park

Wow, large fish and chips, it was a mission but I cleared my plate. Lovely fish in a realy nice batter atop a lovely pile of chips.

The Atlantic Cafe Bar is very popular and it's easy to see why. Happy and welcoming staff along with a fresh variety of the meals and drinks. Served in a warm environment which includes a warm fire and soft leather chairs and dog friendly. They also have a licence to serve alcohol.if that is your want. Great views from the windows as the angry seas smashed onto the beach. Between us we  had Cod and chips in bearbatter , baked cod and lastly Nachos with cheese in a tomato garlic dip, all were gernerous and very tasty. This was eashed down with coffee which I can definitely recommend. The only disappointment was the expensive car park which can be avoided if you are lucky to find some free parking nearby on the street. The whole place is on one level so can be accessed by wheel chair and the toilets were clean and well maintained.  Parking: One hour cost £2 which I though was overpriced having visited several car parks in the area  approx 10 miles which were £1 for 2 hours !   Wheelchair accessibility: The level from the car park to the cafe is level so easy and straight forward access. Not do the beach which has approx 16 steps. You do get a great view of the beach from the car park though.

Fab cafe right on the beach. Fantastic views. Great food lovely beach side decor. Really polite friendly efficient staff AND brilliant coffee - NOT luke warm but proper hot. Not bitter but lovely flavour. And at the end of a great coast to coast cycle trail. Love it.Food: 5/5

Great location, really big inside, very well decorated and looks really cosy and pretty! Wide selection of food and drinks with a decent view of portreath beach. Service was friendly and pretty speedy. Food was tasty although found the burger a little dry as hardly any sauce inside of it. Massive portion size which is good as it isn't cheap! Definately recommend visiting though.

The Atlantic cafe is virtually on the harbour of Portreith. At the time of our visit their wasn't many tourists visiting hence the cafe wasn't busy. The Cafe has plenty of tables and is licensed to serve alcohol. The food was good and as expected the fish was of good quality.Food: 4/5

Huge portions. Good food. Service was quite slow, but... It was very busy and new years day, so im sure its better when its less busy.Food: 4/5
