I have only reviewed this as one star as I can't review it with nothing. It is worse than Fawlty Towers. The staff are rude. The furniture in my room was unfit for use, the bed headboard and toilet seat both wobbled. The TV table was broken, the wallpaper peeling and electrical cable ducts were unattached to the wall. The car park was less tidy than the local tip.nnI agree with the comment that pitching a tent on the adjacent roundabout would be a superior location.nnDo not visit this hotel.
Basil Fawlty couldn't run a worse hotel.nnBoth receptionists were rude. The room had a wobbly bed head board. The tv table had partially collapsed. There was bare walls with missing wallpaper, the toilet seat wobbled, the wardrobe had a door handle missing, the electric cable duct had come off the wall and I have seen rubbish dumps tidier than the carpark. They even had broken glass on the reception floor. It is by far the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to visit.
The room and bathroom was not clean at all. The bathroom floor was all smashed, shower wasnt clean. Bedroom floor was laminate that wasnt clicked together properly. And all walls were dirty. Cleaning lady walked in while i was laid on the bed just as i got there didnt clean any of the room, but mopped the floor. Had to keep ringing the buzzer to get into the hotel as no other way to get in. Came home with bites and feeling so disgusting.

One of the finest establishments I've ever stayed in all of England. These bad reviews are unfair. Excellent service from the owner who was very kind. Comfortable room with everything you need from a hotel. Will definitely stay again.
