We had a great meal here. The staff were very friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our puppy was very welcome here. We would definitely recommend a visit, and we look forward to returning.

Lovely little pub, breakfast was yummy and had Pink Floyd playing subtly so all good.nLandlord and staff were all very pleasant and friendly.nWe had a river view and I sat in the window for a bit looking out. I just love the water!

We didn't stay in the rooms, simply enjoyed a dinner. For a start the customer service is 5 star. From the beginnings of making and amending a booking on the phone, right until the end of the evening. The girl on the phone was extremely polite, accommodating and competent. The waiter we had, who looked a little like Ben Kingsley, was very good. It seemed to me that he may have been the owner, but I can't be sure. Anyway, his manner was fantastic, not too overbearing yet appropriately friendly and warm.nThe food was great, and the portions generous. It seems to me that there may still be work to do on the ambience/decor. Not that it was bad, but it's somewhere in-between a pub and a restaurant, which is of course simply what it is. But the pub side of things does make you feel as if you're at an upmarket Wetherspoons. You'd happily have a birthday there, but you wouldn't propose...that kind of vibe. I will say that it was after dark so we didn't benefit from the view / outside seating. I imagine it's a wonderful place to be on a summer's evening.

Have never stayed here but have often visited for family meals. Always good food and good service. The team are fantastic Parking is available but it does get busy of an evening. There were 9 of us for dinner at our most recent visit and, despite a full restaurant, we were very well looked after.

Little hidden gem, overlooking the river. We had a beautiful dinner in the terrace, in the sunshine and with lovely flowers borders.nCalamari and fish &chip were fresh and lovely.nThe service was kind and quick. It has parking. I would definitely recommend it and go back there again.
