"Welcome to The Art House, a mainly vegetarian cafe with creativity whether you wish to sample our food & locally roasted coffee or take part in one of our creative activities with pottery painting always on offer. We are now open late on Thursdays for creative nights every week & from 17/6 we are launching a small plate, cocktails, fizz & fine wine on some Friday & Saturday nights. evening events with pottery painting, pot throwing & our infamous gin & tapas nights. Along with seasonal events like Xmas wreath making , Halloween & celebrations .Our menu is seasonal & changes regularly with a large salad bar with around 8/10 salads. All our food is available eat in or take away ,We also run children’s art & music classes term time."

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon doing arts/crafts, painting, eating & drinking. Superb food. Spoilt for choice. The many salads were exquisite, they also seemed very population with locals for lunch takeaways.

We went for lunch and wow the food was amazing! We had the protein bowl and it was the best salad I've ever had out for a meal... Really friendly service and great value. We also did the pottery painting after and it was great fun to try something new! Highly recommended*****

Wonderful place, friendly staff, creative environment ! Although we just stopped in for coffees, they were delicious and sitting right by the side of others who were crafting away’ was lovely  All ages seemed welcome and the menu was extensive and also catered for VEGANS    my iced coffee was delicious   Can’t wait to try the falafel salad sometime

Excellent place for lunch. We visited between arriving at the station and check in at the hotel. Really tasty salad bowls and wraps. We had the omega 3 bowl: salmon, curried cauliflower, potato salad and more and the falafel wrap. Just a shame we couldn't fit in a second visit.  Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian menu, with some fish and meat add ins.

They hosted the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce Breakfast meeting this morning. As a vegan they catered so well for me. I chose to have the vegan sausage roll with chutney and it was bursting with flavour! I would highly recommend a visit and I'm excited to bring my husband to try out more of their delicious food :

I really enjoyed the environment style and service here. I will recommend it to family and friends as there are many options food wise and coffee is really nice overall fantastic highly recommend Food: 5/5

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We must try a meal in the evening here, if the lunch ia anything to go by it will be good.Food: 5/5

Food was superb! I had a sandwich of garlic mushrooms tomato and hummus Andrew had soup and chicken burrito. Pat Liverpool  Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice for vegetarians

Helen the chef makes gorgeous food! Vegan and Veggie options abound and the staff are lovely. Stuff to do for kids as  well as arts and crafts events pottery painting especially!! Friday  and  Saturday Eve they serve great gin cocktails and excellent tapas. 4 stars only because it's a little pricey but, where isn't these days?!

The food and service is excellent. My family had afternoon tea, the photo is tea for 2. All of it was lovely, the scones had a dash of cinnamon which is a really nice twist. Something to be aware of is that the toilets are downstairs.
