Visited for lunch on a Friday. Lovely place to eat, good choice of both food and drink. Our choices were all delicious and the service from Katherine and Olivia was delightful; friendly and efficient. Really comfortable and attractive interior. Vegetarian options: Good choice. Parking: Good parking Dietary restrictions: Staff asked about allergies and there were plenty of choices on menu.
Great options for food Inc vegan menu, decent flavours! Service polite a tiny bit slow... Only reason I dropped a star is in my opinion the food is over priced. Nevertheless definitely worth a visit so don't hesitate.
Beautiful pub and great customer service. The food was nice but nothing spectacular. We had the fish and chips which was a good average and I also had sea bass but it was slightly smelly and which is common but some places know how to either marinate or cook it in a way to get rid of the fishy smell. We will go back again as the pub has a lovely vibe but it would be great if the quality of food can improve as average food at their prices is not great.
Great atmosphere, food is amazing and the drinks too and the person who served us was extremely polite. All of that combined was the perfect combination for a great night out!
Buzzing for Sunday lunches. Little noisy. Car park not big enough for the customers. Roast pork soft thick slices of belly meat although one wax more fat. Roast spuds not as crispy as I'd like but were soft & fluffy within. Giant Yorkshire pud. Crackling bit hard on teeth. Think it may have been cooked seperately to the meat. I'd say whole portion was perfect size for me. Staff friendly & attentive.
Visited on multiple occasions and had very different experiences. The first visit we waited 40 minutes before someone even came within line of sight to take our order and then each course took another half an hour. The next visit the food came very quick but they got our take away order wrong. Food is nice but very few low calorie options and limited vegetarian options. That being said, it's a nice location and the staff were friendly so you may have a good experience but based on my two visits, it's hard to say exactly Vegetarian options: Fairly limited, most meals contain meat or fish
Had fantastic Sunday lunch here, very varied menu including veggie options, served hot & well cooked. Three of us had 3 different meals, all were delicious, thoroughly recommend the Arkley
Fantastic food, great service, the staff were very polite and charming. First time visit, definitely coming back again! Lovely atmosphere!
Second visit and once again we were very pleased. . lovely atmosphere tables set at the right distance and the very clean . Service was excellent and just right helpful polite and efficient. Finn who served was great ,mannerly ,polite , EXCELLENT . We will look forward to coming again. The food. Was lovely and look forward to sampling more from the menu. .
An absolutely beautiful little getaway, that had us leaving with smiles on our faces & looking forward to coming back for another dining experience.. Loved the interior design of this place unfortunately my phone screen was broken so those photos will come in due course.. Having popped in for a quick beverage, one look at the menu and the starters looked very appetising.. all three went down a treat & those were: Salt & Szechuan Pepper Squid, Chipotle Sticky Chicken, Pan-Fried King Prawns with Chili & Feta.. A large selection of beverages also on offer including some of my favourite beers & spirits.. Customer service was a really nice experience, everyone seemed happy to help 5* Would recommend on overall experience, we'll be paying another visit in the near future
