This hotel is a mixed bag. I booked mainly because of the free parking and on-site restaurant, as a place to stop over after a 5-hour drive. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed with no notice (despite menus stuck on every available wall persuading guests to eat there) and no explanation from a disinterested receptionist, which didn't get the stay off to a great start. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the breakfast was great for the price. In short, the nuts and bolts of my stay were absolutely fine, but I wasn't made to feel welcome at all, and I won't be staying again.

Stayed for five nights. Great room, up to date, friendly staff, sweet location, the restaurant in the basement had a lovely atmosphere. Definitely going to book this hotel again another time.

Also, do visit the Kelvingrowe Art Gallery and Museum, it's a five minute walk from the hotel. Astonishing.

Very clean and tidy. Excellent rooms for the price. When we arrived the woman on reception couldn't of been nicer, helping us where to go and parking arrangements. Couldn't be said for the Asian woman on reception in the morning. Don't think she smiled once. Breakfast was a buffet style full Scottish or continental both were equally really good. Parking is very limited, think about 5 spaces round the back of hotel. There is on street parking which isn't that expensive, however they do a council deal which is very cheap. Overall a pleasant stay, and very central to where we needed to be in Glasgow.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago 
Do not stay in room one. It is tiny and a very uncomfortable mattress. Cheap mattress could feel every spring, left after two nights with an aching back.
Room needs a refurbished,old carpets and too large scruffy furniture. 
Bathroom good and breakfast fine, porridge nice.
It is important to get decent sleep and l had none due to mattress.

Staff lovely. Breakfast brilliant. Room 304 twin tiny! Steer clear. However Room 306 which our friends had was double and lovely.
