I simply cannot rate this venue high enough. We had my sons birthday party here and everyone had such a brilliant time. The staff were helpful when needed and all the children had so much fun. The choice and number of different machines is great. Wouldn't hesitate in booking another party here.

I took my family for my daughters birthday I love the fact you pay for the hour and can go on as many games as you like. Unfortunately some of the games just didn't work. I also thought that as covid is still a thing they should of cleaned in-between but I didn't see that and my husband stayed for the next hour as we were late to our booking due to not living in the area and not being able to find it. The staff on most part were polite and friendly. On the downside I'm disabled and use a wheelchair and I didn't have to all the games to stairs not that I could play many but still had to pay full price for what little games I had access to. But my husband and children aged 14,16 and 20 would definitely go again.

My daughter 6 and I had a fun filled morning at High Score arcade, it was very reasonably priced and there was plenty of choice of games to keep us occupied for the whole hour slot booking.

We had our 2 son's joint birthday party here today, it was amazing! All the guests had the best time being able to move around freely on all the machines. We had a party room for food and drink which was lovely and decorated with lights. The member of staff Josh looking after us, catered for all our needs and nothing was too much trouble! We booked to go to high score due to the kids asking if we could take them to the arcade. We have found in the past that we end up spending a fortune and we only end up staying for a short period of time due to this. We booked a family ticket which gave us a 20% discount so it ended up being good value for an hour. The staff we really helpful on arrival and there was a great selection of games, all set to free play. We never found ourselves waiting long for a game we wanted to play and there was always space on something. The games range from retro to modern day and everything in between. A good mix of skill based games and video games. The staff were going round helping people to use the machines to their full capability which was great. Everything seemed clean and there were sanitiser stations available. We had a great time and will 100% be returning.

I had a great time visiting this arcade, cabs are in very good condition, no tickets or claw games here which is a plus, allows the place to fully focus on the game play instead.  Staff are informative and engaging and ensure everyone is having a great time. The arcade is run in bookable hour slots for £10 for free play on all cabs, discounts for groups if you check the website. Very good value for money will be coming again.

How this place isn't packed every minute of every day I do not know! The entire team at Newbury are brilliant, very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. We recently hired the arcade exclusively for a party. We had ages ranging from 6 to 40+ and everyone had an amazing time. High score offers great value for money too, pay to enter, play for free, as many times as you like on as many games as you like. Oh and giant pacman!

Great venue for a kids party. Had 12 excitable 11 year old who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Had an area to use for drinks and stuff. The staff were all excellent and really helpful. Would highly recommend.

A very nicely maintained Arcade, brilliant fun for what’s actually excellent value for money.  There’s a wide selection of games on offer, and if you’re there with much younger kids, they even have a section specifically set aside out the back with a few younger, quieter games which is much appreciated.  The staff are very friendly too and incredibly accommodating - as a nice way to spend an hour with friends or just getting a bit of a nostalgia fix it’s well worth the visit!

We had our son's 10th birthday party here today and I can't praise it highly enough. The games, venue and party room were all excellent and the manager could not have been more helpful. He was great with the kids and knew exactly how to make the party work. Thank you High Score!
