This is a really lovely cafe with a lovely garden. Everyone is friendly and caring. Delicious food, coffee and pastries. I recommend this cafe.Food: 5/5
Lovely garden courtyard. Ideal for a cycle pit stop. Access from the road through the alley and up some steps. Alternatively you can get there via the car park at the back then through the garden. Bike rack available. Quick service. Great range of food. Excellent coffee. Almond croissant wasn't the best so will try something different next time
5 stars for atmosphere, as the courtyard is pretty and tranquil. The service was also good. However, the food was not good value for money nor nutritious. The bagels £8.99 were very small with not much filling and just a small portion of crisps on the side. There was no wholemeal / granary bread on offer and we left feeling hungry. Having cycled 50km to get there, I doubt we will return. It's a shame, as this used to be one of our favourite cafes.
Set upstairs and behind the high street and somewhat secluded this is a treasure of a place to dine. Their selection of snacks and deserts are both fresh and tasty as are the drinks on offer. All provided in a calm relaxing atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. With numerous seating areas both inside and out it is the perfect rest when visiting the area.
A tasty and filling afternoon tea! Service was great, as well. A hidden gem, above a shop. Lovely garden. There is parking round the back. We left the too-fishy sandwiches taramasalata?, but the rest were really nice, and the millionaire's and brownies were excellent. The scones were fine. Thanks!Food: 4/5
Very pleasant garden on a sunny day. The quality and quantity of food did not justify the price. The New York bagel had a meagre portion of pastrami. In New York you would get many layers of meat. The accompanying crisps were few. The £9+ nachos were poor and small, not a patch on Wetherspoons. Service was fine.Food: 3/5
We really loved this place. Everything is super cute, the food is amazing the cakes are really nice, the stuff is super friendly and service very fast. The interior is nice an cozy but also the garden is amazing to sit and enjoy the sun.
Nice café, perfect cozy ambience. The quality of coffee is very nice.Food: 5/5
Visited with friends on a bike ride on Saturday morning. There is space to park your bikes, you go in through to the cafe and then you get to sit inside where they display some very artistic stuff for sale some pictures attached. Nice mirrors, lamps, a beautiful gear clock, was tempted but didn’t fancy lugging it on the bike. Had a great coffee and Victoria sponge cake. The staff were so patient even with someone who took such a long time trying to get a vegan, gluten free cake and walked him through all the options but he wasn’t satisfied. Definitely added this to our must visit again places.
4 of us had a cuppa and cake one weekday afternoon. It's such a great place to visit, and it was a great shame that the inclement weather meant we had to sit inside. The venue is similar to a tardis in its proportions, and it was a pleasure to wander around following our delicious sweet treats. I had the GF lemon and lime cake, which was a sizeable portion, beautifully moist and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. Dogs are also welcome. There is on street parking, but a larger car park is available just up the road with 1 hour free parking. This is a splendid place to visit.
