Lots of intresting displays and historical information to take in. Well woth a visit.

The museum makes a great deal from limited material. Building is worth visiting and displays are clear and l formative. I liked Stuart section but modern army history is well documented on top floor.

Very good quiet and interesting place and free! Great place to get away fro it all for a while.

Well worth a visit. Free to enter, ancient and interesting rooms to view. All in the town centre too.

Free entry. Very friendly and engaging staff. The museum is packed with history. We didn't see any ghosts though. The top floor has a yeomanry museum. Very enjoyable experience.

A lot of it is original, it's genuinely very old, and has a history. While donations are sought, there is no charge to enter and view the exhibits.
