Fantastic, yummy food, we cleaned our plates/bowls, the peri peri chicken was so moist and mouthwatering. We were both stuffed. Fabulous service, was very quick, efficient and welcoming. My curried parship soup was delicious I highly recommend it.
Great night last night, Strange Brew played a great set. Well worth the trip, tight band! See Chris is learning to read again? Apart from that, this is a lovely bar to visit, clean and cheerful, always get a warm welcome.
Great space to Call into. GooD to meet and Talk with Friends and MeeT NeW Characters. Cleanest Brightest Toilets Friendly Staff EVERY Day I've been in. Big Screen TV's Sporting Events Live music some evenings And a Quality Duke box for other nights. I used to be in here as a student to hang out in the upper level that views down over the bottom bar. So, it's great to re connect with the Anchor as that was over 30 years AgO. Come in, what's the Craziest thinG that could happen ? .
Yes new owners a younger clietel but still familiar surroundings
If they would turn the juke box on it would be great craic. Trying to enjoy a pint while listening to “the charts” is very difficult. It’s all very “depressing” the music that is. The only reason I have put 2 stars is the fact there is an actual juke box and the Guinness isn’t too bad either just need to sort out the details.
What can I say amazing owners and staff it's like a home from home and the crack is outstanding an live music
Friendly staff. Good atmosphere
This small pub has always made us very welcome. Friendly bouncer keeps everyone in line with a smile on his face. Good range of drinks. Just a nice wee pub with entertainment advertised for various nights.
This cosy little speakeasy has all the charm and welcoming of a local bar, whilst being in the city centre. You'll be made feel like a local the minute you walk in the door. Great people Great atmosphere
Best bar in DERRY, great staff and service with a smile,
