Very tasty dishes, generous portion size. This was our first time eating at The Ameena Restaurant and it definitely won’t be the last. Spectacular service from all the staff in there, there was always someone around to make sure that all your needs were met. Genuine staff and managers of this restaurant, a family run business - Humble, warm & welcoming. The food was very fair priced and it was nice quality.
Ameena was recommended to us and quite right too. It was a superb evening... all dishes absolutely excellent. There's a clear dividing line between the OK and the great, and this crosses it and keeps going. The servings were generous too... so much so that we had to ask for take-out bags, which they very kindly provided. Throwing that food away would have been criminal. Service charming and genuine, which is rare, and the price by southern standards was very reasonable. Would make a detour to go again
Food is defiantly the best in the area, can not fault any part of the food at all, time, presentation and taste is 10/10. What makes the experience ten times better is I have ate in and had collection many times and each time the team have been lovey, very friendly and interact well with everyone. On the last visit It was my birthday and they gave me a card and a present abd they did the same for my boyfriend when it was his birthday. Low prices considering the high quality food
Went for a family meal for my 25th birthday this evening after a recommendation from my uncle. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more attentive. They lit my birthday 'cookie' and even brought me over a lil bottle of fizz and birthday card. The food was also faultless, tasted delicious and flavoursome! Thank you all at The Ameena for making my meal so special!!! Kid-friendliness: Made our 8 year olds feel like VIPs literally as that's what the staff called them!!! Shook their hands and couldn't have been more attentive with them both!

Rather eat in than get a delivery. Eating in is great. Delivery was over an hour on a Tuesday. I live 4 mins away. Food arrived cold. Missing naan bread.. eating in the food was lovely. Tastes great. Good service.

Went for the first time last Saturday and had the best time. Everyone was so friendly and polite. Even noticed we hadn't been before and made lots of conversation with us. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend and go again. Will now be my new local Indian :
