Imagine stumbling across a classic family-run bistro in a French village.

Utilising the freshest seasonal ingredients, and served in an atmosphere as warm and inviting as Maman's own dining room.

It's an experience you can now enjoy on this side of the Channel, with the arrival of Bistro Gautier, in the heart of a Harpenden.

Open for Coffee, lunch, a snack, gouter, dinner, bench at weekends or just drinks on Station Road.

Avoid if possible 2 of our party had same dish and was very ill after the landlord was very rude I felt like my custom was not wanted staff didn't look happy very uncomfortable and food was disgusting
We would totally recommend the kareoke night! Went on Saturday evening just planning to stay for an hour but it was such fun we stayed til the end! Really looking forward to visiting again - warm, friendy and very welcoming

New chef in town! Had a beautiful meal, love the menu. Lovely cosy place to hide away for a few hours. Will definitely be back for Sunday lunch.
Amazing food. Had by far one of the best burgers here. Also very reasonably priced especially for Harpenden. Would highly recommend!
