We haven't been since it re-opened with new owners. Very pleasantly surprised that the breakfasts are just as good as they always have been pancakes are even better according to my wife, the coffee is better and the service/welcome was great.nnPlus there is now a small children's play area in the excellent garden area.
Attempted to come here 5 times and only been served twice. Refused a take away coffee because it was Mother’s Day if we sat in we would have been served, no logic as to why. Went back for another visit to sit outside and have a drink and was welcomed by a very polite and friendly lady who took our order, only to be met with the rudeness of the Australian lady who seems to not want any customers the same lady who has refused to serve us almost every time we have been!! and very slow service despite it being quiet. Will not be returning. The Hatch just opposite is a very nice alternative and very friendly.
This place used to be fantastic! Big pieces of fab cake, great food.nNow £4 for a pathetic slice, ypu have to pick your food up yourself at the counter, clear your own dishes.... but tips still expected!nNot sure what for.nCertainly not the cheery smile that greets you. SarcasmnHow sadnIt was a little gem
Lovely little hidden gem of a cafe. Really tasty food & drinks, a great atmosphere. I've lived in Mossley all my life and only found out about the existence of this place recently, but I'm definitely glad I did.nnWent back today my third visit to find a new menu. Food still of a very good quality, but I preferred the breakfast sandwich that was on the old menu. The crispy potato skins were a strange addition. I'm all for not throwing away food, but they weren't something I'd try again.
Loved it here, so glad we found this gem. Great staff and great food in a lovely setting. Definitely will be visiting again.
