The food was amazing! For starters we had the sharing meal which came with a mix of fish, chicken, mushrooms, onion rings and garlic bread. Definitely a good quantity for starters We went for the Mon-Fri offer of 2 mains for £9 and ordered a chicken dish and lasagne. Chicken with a strip of bacon, some fries and a few veggies was just spot on. The lasagne was also really good. The drinks are priced well. The place is not hard to find and located at a roundabout just opposite a shell petrol station.
Went for 4pm Xmas Dinner. Now Sunday lunch carvery. Adult price of £9.99 per lunch. Choice of 3 meats or piece of all 3. Plenty of fresh veg including peas roast and mashed potatoes, swede and carrot mash. Not covered in cheese or swimming in butter. Better carvery than Toby in quality and price. Advisable to book as busy at lunch Again as a party of 5 we attended for the Sunday carvery. As previously the food was as good as last time. Plenty of freshly prepared vegetables and decent portions of meat. Well worth the money Again. Free parking and the restaurant is always kept clean. 10/4/2022
We've stayed here and the staff are friendly, the building is really old. Loads of original features. Nice place facing the sea
Good food. Steak a bit under 1st time, but taken away and 2nd time fab.Food: 4/5
Love this place so much. The staff are absolutely brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is great and good value for money. I celebrated my birthday there today and I got a main course meal free of charge, thanks to the brewers fayre bonus club well worth getting. When I ordered my food I was then presented with a small bottle of champagne, a bar of chocolate and a birthday card which just made my evening. Thank you to everyone for making my birthday so special xx
Donna is a delight to be served by.Just tried the restaurant over 2 days and found the food excellent value. Service was a little slow 1st day but swift on our second visit. Try the 2 main courses for one offer week days till 6pm very good value . Parking: Park right outs8de and its free !
Was greeted warmly by a lovely female member of staff and our order was taken swiftly and had a lovely table. The atmosphere was friendly towards all guests. Will definitely go back. Great value for a breakfast
Amazing food. Great value for money. Service is always perfect, food is always on point, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am always looking forward to this place with my friends or family. The chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream is exceptionally good! Would highly recommend Kid-friendliness: Kid highchairs and a little outdoor park. Claw and surprise mystery machines.
We come here quite regularly for our dinners and always at Christmas. Had 3 courses for £16.99 which is quite reasonable. The meal we had today was the festive menu. Tomato soup with croutons to start and then a turkey dinner after. We had the sherry trifle for afters which is to die for and I highly recommend it. The staff were very good, polite and we didn't have to wait long for our orders aswell which was a bonus. We had a lovely time and shall be visiting again. Merry Christmas to all the staff you did well tonight.
Good food but evening meals were nothing special. Wife fancied several dishes but won't order anything containing red wine or beer which limited her choices. No hot chocolate which was a little disappointing. The all you can eat English breakfast was top notch and worth 5 stars on its own, couldn't fault it.Food: 4/5
