The Academy Basingstoke is the Largest English Pool Club in the World with 31
pool tables (1 in a VIP Room). We also have 12 Snooker Tables (Includes 3 Match Tables) and
10 Dart Lanes with Electronic Scorers.
We show all live sports on BT Sports & Sky Sports on 76 HD TVs and Huge HD Projector screen.
The club not only offers extensive facilities in Snooker, Pool and Darts but
is also Basingstoke Number 1 Social Club with Great Entertainment and
Great Drink Prices to suit all, with a Large Beer Garden. There is always a
warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere that welcomes New and Old
Members with Guests of all ages.
FREE entry to club and events for all members or guest fees applies.

I have an 8 year old daughter and it is the best place to take her in Basingstoke by a country mile!!! Recently we have seen Taylor Swift, Spice Girls and Little Mix tributes down there and she LOVES it each time!! Safe for kids, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and a Chinese takeaway on site too! I can’t sing the praises of this place enough!!!!

Quite a nice venue, pleasant staff and having a Chinese on site is a bonus.  From a pool table point of view I found them a bit slow but ok to play on.  The interior decor is absolutely insane, from one spot I could see 32 televisions  and the amount of mirrors made it even more insane.  Quite off putting when playing a match but overall would visit again

The club is great but my wife and I like to play pool or snooker during the day and every other time we've been there, we've just had to come home as there is no where to park. They have a car park but they let every one else on the estate use it and it is full by 10.30 - 11am. It really needs sorting out as they are losing business from it. We tried parking else where but get abuse from other traders so just not worth the hassle.

What a truly great place. A friend of mine took me here, being from out of town and fancied a bit of a lads day, and this place ticks every box. Loads of pool tables, loads of big tv's showing premier league football. A duke box with good music, great beer, a Chinese restaurant which serves amazing food, and the atmosphere was spot on. The only fault, which is not yours  is the parking is bad, but you can't help that, defo get a taxi. Will defo be back

Great live venue... just a shame it's so far out of town...

Good quality venue, Pool tables and Snooker tables well looked after and maintained. Dart area normally free, they often host live entertainment on the weekends which adds another element. Probably one of Basingstoke’s best Chinese food in the facility also, which, they allow you to eat in the main area. Staff are friendly

Everything you could ever hope for in terms of entertainment.  Sport, Music,Food and more delivered professionally by friendly enthusiastic staff at a reasonable price.

Brilliant facilities, clean and tidy, good standard of snooker tables and excellent staff. Membership is a bargain

Excellent place for social and leisure. One of my must-go places in Basingstoke!  Place is clean, easy access car parking, friendly local people, funny bartenders and hansome owner, plenty snooker and pool tables, dart games, lottery machine, live music bands Fridays?, not to mention jaggerbomb shots..  What else do you expect?
