Incredibly disappointed to hear they won't even consider talking about a shared care agreement. The staff are lovely here, but unfortunately I have to give this surgery a 1-star review because of a decision taken by the partners which has had a significant impact on me and decisions regarding my health and wellbeing. Forced to leave this surgery and register elsewhere, thanks a bunch...
Can’t fault The Abingdon Surgery. I’ve been with them since I was born in 1990 and they’ve been brilliant. My GP is fantastic and I’ve had her for years now. I use the surgery a couple of times a year depending how things are going with my mental and physical health - sometimes more and I’ve never had a problem. They were also supportive and quick when I needed to go for an assessment through the Right to Choose pathway.
Absolutely disgusted with the receptionist today, I have had my asthma prescription messed up since last August, they keep changing me from ventolin to salamol, which just seems to aggravate my asthma, then just issuing me 1 ventolin on a prescription instead of 2 which I have to pay full price for! Upon explaining this to the receptionist she in a sarcastic accent said that's just the price these days! She was on the wind up as soon as she realised how frustrated I was with the situation! I am currently still having to run around begging to borrow inhalers of friends and family
Horrible doctors, stuck with the same tests over and over without proper treatment. AI did help me a lot more finding the issue and even if I told the doctor about the possible treatment, Doctors agrees and still trying to do tests for something I had tests done before. I’m stuck in useless tests loop for over a year with them.
