Exceptional, lovely atmosphere, stunning food and great choice of excellent wines. Graham the landlord is a wonderful host. Can't wait to come back. Superb.Rooms: 5/5
Fantastic Sunday roast - vegan roast absolutely delicious, best in Wiltshire and really nice that thought had been made.. not just another nut roast. Fantastic open fire, great wine, relaxed atmosphere and well worth a visit. We look forward to returning very soon - thank you!
Lovely traditional pub with log fire and wood burning stove. Great wines, beer and food. Landlord knows his stuff. Bedroom 2 basic but comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious with local produce. Good value. We were in the area for a wedding. Staying here made it an all-round pleasurable weekend.
Great classic country freehold pub with what can only be described as a genuine old world landlord. Full of banter and always a smile. Food is great and always a good atmosphere. Local music is available in summer, and I will be watching there www for dates!Rooms: 4/5

A classic country pub with exceptional beer, food and location. The staff are all lovely and welcoming and seem to really enjoy working there, which is always a good sign. I will definitely be bringing friends and family here in the future!
Stopped off here for lunch in passing - remembering having had a lovely unplanned meal here about 5 years ago. Again it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere with 2 fires lit. An incredibly tasty meal that left me nicely filled up - and a nice fresh and tasty couple of pints of ale to wash it down. A quality lunch stop! It seemed busy but they fitted me in. Booking a table is probably advisable.
First time I've been here. Food, par excellence. Very good. Service and knowledge was virtually flawless. Beautiful 16th century wainscoting and wood carving. Wine selection excellent. Beers also good range. Must go back and try more sometime.
