Story

Welcome to Thai Square St Albans:
Thai Square has recently opened in St Albans in the former site of The Tudor Tavern.

This 15th century Verulam Road building includes a host of striking architectural features many of which were revealed during the recent refurbishment works. Thai Square worked closely with the conservation authorities and received praise from the St Albans Civic Society for the sensitive way the work was carried out.

Absolutely love the Salt and Pepper squid! Always come back here for that dish alone! Bit pricey though for the rest of the menu, but the service is very fast.
Aromatic Duck 2 people sharing disappointing for £17. Picture I took looked like a lacking portion for 2 and the price. Chargrilled Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce was lovely as was the Duck Curry.
Location and restaurant ambience is very good. Starters flavours and variety was superb. Mains were rather bland and portion size of mains was small. Very slow service was also a shame.
Deceptively large portions which I liked. Food was very nice and didn't take long to come out. Staff were friendly enough. Clean premises and fair prices.
I went with my wife after a day out. We were quite tired, but the food relived us of all tiredness.The staff was polite and friendly. Didn't take long for the food to arrive. Overall pretty nice place.
Find it expensive even with eat out scheme in September. Average food
