Saw it just opened last week and decide to check it out. The foods are amazing. Very nice presented, good portion and good price. My family all enjoyed it. The proper Thai flavour.
This place doesn't look great from outside but interior was nice & modern. Food was absolutely lush. I had duck spring rolls fab portion, pictured followed by masaman chicken - out of this world!! Rice portions quite small though. Ordered a sticky rice tiny & a chicken fried rice for our 5 year old thinking we can have half at £8.50 but was like a kids portion anyway! Defo go again though as flavours were amazing. Good price apart from rice.
We visited Lichfield to see and draw the Cathedral. As it was wet and miserable when we arrived, we scouted around for some grub. Thai Smile looked welcoming and the menu looked good too. We was tempted by the buffet option but went for a set meal instead. Food was great and the service was awesome. The chef was lovely and very attentive. I noted her artistic flair and charisma. Which also showed in the beautiful intricate flowers that she made from carrots, turnips and whatever else she could get hold of. She even offered to teach the technique to me the next time I visit. I recommend a visit to this hidden gem. I wish them all the best in developing their business.
The food was exceptional, both in terms of quality and presentation. I ordered vegetable tempura as a starter, and king prawn red curry for a main, and was absolutely satisfied with the food. We came in at lunch time, so it was quiet, but it did mean we had a very relaxing and unhurried lunch. The service was of an equally high standard, with the lady serving managing to strike the balance between being attentive and giving enough space perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to people to try.
A pleasant surprise! It was our first time visiting this restaurant, the food was freshly prepared and tasty. We have tried few different Thai restaurants, we would say this is the best in term of food and price. The service was very good as well. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in real Thai food and we are definitely going back.
Only ordered take-away but will definitely sit in next time. The food was really very good and we eat a lot of Thai food. Lots of fresh ingredients which you could actually see, lemon grass, garlic etc. Beautifully seasoned dishes, well worth trying. Would recommend the salads prawn & the papaya both very fresh and fragrant. Grilled king prawns were also amazing served with the best chilli sauce, not sticky & syrupy but thin and packed with fresh chillis coriander etc. The only thing that didn't travel well was the sticky rice but I'm sure it would be fine served fresh to table. Really hope people use this place as food was better than Thai Rainbow which in my opinion is overrated.
First time we ordered the food was really nice if not a bit late to get to us. The second time we ordered on just eat it was cancelled and so we phoned up and the person on the phone had zero knowledge of the menu so we eventually decided to go into the shop. My gf and her friend went in and waited for an hour for the food when it was not as busy as they made it out to be. When they brought the food back we realised that we were missing a few items from the platter, a portion of chicken wings and we had been given items we hadn't even ordered. I phoned up and spoke to 'Teh', I'm not sure how you spell his name and he could do nothing apart from ask how he could make it right and eventually offered me a discount on a future order. Today I phoned up to order food and he was not working but the lady offered me a discount on my delivery. We picked all our order on just eat and it added up to £32.25, she said she would take 15% off the bill however when delivered it was £31.20, bloody fantastic discount that, especially when the Thai platter was still completely wrong and we only got 3 wings in a portion. instead of the 4 that we had in every other order we had made not to mention one set of the noodles smelled like old people and tasted like it too. Thai smile has certainly not left me smiling
Outstanding freshly cooked food. Best Thai food I've ever had. Highly recommend this place. Friendly staff as well, really welcoming and can't do enough for you.
The food was nice but Luke warm and the service was the most worst I have ever had. We had a table of 11, some of us had mains before starters and others had no food till others had finished there whole meal. You couldn't ecen arrange to pay your bill. Will never return and the manageress should be ashamed of herself!
I visited with my husband for my birthday and really enjoyed it.Terry made us very welcome and we received a great service, buffet was great to try different meals we will be back again. Really nice inside well presented.Thank you for making my birthday so nice
