A little underwhelmed by the whole experience if I'm honest. I went here after hearing a number of good things from friends but didn't enjoy it myself. We were showed to our table in the upstairs room which, although there was many other tables there, was extremely quiet. The music was so low in volume too which resulted in a library style atmosphere with sense that people were cautious to talk at a comfortable level. The food itself was fairly enjoyable but I have definitely had better Thai food elsewhere.
Had a really lovely meal here. Perfect place for a date or quiet meal. Not too expensive either. Traditional Thai food so expect a bit of spice but nothing that's likely to blow your head off. For Friday's and weekends, I recommend booking because it's likely to be very busy. If you're having a chilled night in, deliveroo also come here. Enjoy!
Coming from London, I don't have any comparisons to other Thai restaurants in Cheltenham, so my review is comparing to London. Pricing is pretty good, cheaper than London standards! Portions were also bigger. We ordered 3 main dishes and 1 starter to share between 4 people, and it was more than enough. Foodwise, it isn't good enough to be fine dining, but above average. The tamarind duck was disappointing - a bit too sweet. The sea bass was very fresh and with a tasty sauce, and the chicken in pandan leave starter was really well made too. Bill Came at £55 for 4 people, excluding drinks. Service was quick and the restaurant is decorated very modern and stylishly, so it was a very pleasant meal.
Great food... good service! All the staff were really nice and although they were really busy nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Able to deal with large groups with lots of different orders!
Decent menu and food was tasty although some items sticky rice !?! unavailable. Wine was ok value for money but bottle of water for a non drinking driver was expensive! Ambience pleasant but staff a bit hit and miss.
Perfect red curry vegetables - fresh with a delicious sauce. Among the best worldwide. Very reasonable prices. Great ambiance. Friendly, affable staff who make you feel most welcome.
I have visited this restaurant several.times and it offers reasonably priced menu options in nice surroundings. The staff look after you without being intrusive and I have always had a good experience, whether in a small or large group.
Didn't like it. I ordered a duck and coke without ice. Received it 2 min after order so I guess microwaved... and costed me £19.50 bit too much for the taste, quality, and overall
Ordered a vegetable Pad Thai, and found a piece of chicken in it. None of the dishes we ordered didn't really taste nice at all, and we won't order from -or go there again.
Popular for teens who study nearby. We usually go for the shrimp Pad Thai, the Thai green curry and the Jungle curry. They do affordable set menus and take aways as well.
