Came out here last night for a late dinner and I have never been here before. The ambience was lovely. The food was a little bit expensive for what it was in my opinion and nothing amazing, just nice. I had the half rack of ribs & other starter plates such as the king prawns and hot wings. The calamari was my favourite. I did not have any alcohol but the coke was non refillable. However, the service was pleasant and quick. :
Really Nice Meal for two and good service! The waitress Isabel was Great she was very helpful and attentive she always made sure we was happy with our meals and kept our drinks topped up when running low. All our food was cooked really nice and came quickly, We had 3 courses and everything tasted fantastic. The cocktails was good and they offer bigger portions if you prefer. Overall we had a Great meal like we have had several times before. We will be returning in the future There is also a parking screen located by the hostess desk that you can enter your car registration to pay for the parking.
£32 for 2 drinks !! This place is located in a retail car park in Sutton Coldfield, not in Mayfair London..greedy business, nice evening but won't be returning.Food: 4/5
Attended for an 18th birthday. Staff were attentive, but could have been a bit more friendly and a smile would be good. Food was very tasty, hot and fresh. Prices in my opinion are a bit too high £15 for a basic burger, £5 for warrior fries. But it’s somewhere I’d only go for special occasions. Cocktails are 2 for 1 every day which is not bad. 2 limited courses for £18pp mon-thur.
TGIs have gone through a lot of changes which I don't think are great. The food portions are a lot smaller. The cocktail are full of ice which then tastes watery after 10 minutes. I wouldn't recommend going to any of them to be honest. The service is long as in waiting long for food and staff to serve. I used love this place but it's not for me anymore. The app rewards can be good if you go regular.
Arrived without booking, told it would be a 30-minute wait even though there was over 10 tables available, waited at the bar and decided to book while we were there and got booked in almost straight away and got a table, total wait 10mins so why couldn't we get a table walking in? Main meals and table service is why I gave 4 stars, wait for food was 1 hour, both sides - the potato skins and vegan skins were over cooked and very hard, not good, the meat burger was good but the beyond burger was more like a side due to its small size but it was very tasty, Vegan tacos were excellent, the bbq chicken strips were very good too, overall It will be a while before we would visit again if ever.
Was ok. Food was nice and came pretty quick but was not worth the money in my honest opinion. £22 for a burger, you expect it to be amazing... i did anyway. But ive had £15 burgers that were better. The patties were dry, which ruined it for me. We all had unlimited soft drink refills and when we asked for another drink we were waiting a good 10 mins for it to arrive each time. Don't think we will be going back anytime soon.
Didn't have a reservation, but we got a table immediately. The waitress lindsey was the best! So kind, polite, helpful and fun! The dinner was great, really good burger!! Would definitely go back there again!Food: 5/5
Haven't been to TGI Friday's for age's so was really looking forward to going. Last time we had been was December 2023 and was lovely. The guy who served us was polite and nice enough. When the food arrived it all looked good. What a disappointment it turned out to be! Food was bland. Had what was supposed to be chargrilled bbq corn ribs in maple syrup etc, well they were below average, very watery flavourless corn. The kids cheese burger was Overy cooked and mostly likely re-warmed as the bun was hard to eat. The sesame chicken was delicious and mozzarella dippers but that was it! The waiter did ask how it was when we asked for the bill, because he must of notice all the uneaten food that was left. We voiced our concerns and disappointment with the food and how bland and watery the corn ribs were his reply was he never even knew they were on the menu!! Don't know whats happened to TGI Friday's it's shabby, not very clean and lost its attraction. Can't believe the difference in the quality of food and overall experience. Shall not be going back, we left hungry and felt robbed!
I read some of the reviews and thought I should write my review considering I am actually a regular here with friends and family. Some of the waitresses know me because we are regulars and it’s a shame I should have reviewed it a lot sooner. It’s disappointing to see some reviews not being honest about the service we appreciate every place has a bad day but some of the reviews seem a little unfair. We are there at least once a week and we enjoy it. Location is perfect as it has parking facility which is easily accessible, the atmosphere is fantastic and the restraint is always warm and cosy. Music is always being played so you feel comfortable and relaxed and the food is always piping hot. The thing we like about TGI is that you don’t need to keep looking for a waiter to add to your order every so often someone will come by and ask if everything is ok with the food. Yes there are times food has missed the mark but they are very quick to replace it with how you wanted the food. It is a very busy Restaraunt and in all my times I’ve been here I only sent something back due to the fact that it went a little cold whilst waiting for the waiter to bring t to the table on a very busy Friday. The manager was apologetic not only did her bring out a fresh hot plate but also offered a discount more than what I have expected. The waiters try very hard to impress you and even walk you to the door to make you feel happy. I have posted a selection of photos from different times and as you will see the food is excellent and the quality is there , if you just want to go somewhere easy and get good food this is the place. Highly recommend.
