Myself and my family decided to go to this TGI for dinner. We were asked on arrival to go to the bar and wait for a table which we did happily as we didn't have a reservation. We were told it would be on longer than a 10 minute wait as it was a quiet Sunday. We were left for at least 25 minutes without being seated then it took another 35 minutes before anyone took our food order. After another lengthy wait for the food to arrive we were very disappointed with the standard. The salad was off/ brown and the sharer loaded fries were a joke for the price, they were a small personal portion at best. We weren't offended any condiments and when asked for it seamed like too much effort. At the end of the meal we showed the staff member the salad and stated my daughter didn't want to eat the rest of it because it was off. We asked if the bill could possibly reflect that. No dedication was taken from the bill, even though my daughter didn't finish her meal. We paid in full and left. All in all I felt robbed and extremely disappointed with our experience. I definitely won't be going back
We came here for my nephews 5th birthday as he wanted the full TGI birthday experience, which we told staff multiple times. We ended up asking for a balloon hat approx. 3 times, and in the end, his mum went and got one from someone or somewhere. We ordered drinks at the bar as our table wasn't ready and ended waiting approx 20 mins to receive these after we prompted someone we still hadn't received them. The food is standard TGI food, can't complain but the prices!! The prices are extortionate these days. £9.50 for Mozzarella dipper starter! You end up being forced to use the set meal deal, which was £22 a person for starters and main, which isn't too bad, I suppose. Overall, overpriced, not great service, atmosphere was dead. I think I'm done with TGI's for a long while.
Come here often for something to do, the food is always amazing and tastes great my favourites are the cheese bacon and maple potato skins and bbq sesame chicken strips. Our last visit our food was late arriving to us we didn’t notice how long we had been sat there as it’s a nice environment to be in. I want to show my appreciation to Lee and his service towards us, along side the many times he apologised to us about the food been late coming out he kindly gave us a huge cut off the bill, very genuine person don’t find many like him he deserves to be noticed so I’m writing this for him. We will be back to the restaurant regardless of the food coming out late once as the taste makes up for it Thankyou again Lee thank you for your great service 5*
Once being weighted on our drinks took 10-15 minutes to arrive and when they do arrive they was primarily ice. Then waited 15 minutes if not more, for the waiter to come back and take our food order. Then it was a 45 minute or so wait for our food which was overpriced majorly for the quality. One of my party of 3 got sweet potato fries with their meal and they were primarily grease with the food being barely even warm. Once we had all finished our food, there was another 15 minute or so wait for our plates and dishes to be collected for only half of them to be taken with another 5-10 minutes for the rest to be taken. I will not be returning as it was astonishing the lack of customer service and he wait times.
It was difficult to locate the car park through Google map. Very massive parking space which is great. We booked a seat for 2 but it looks like walk in is also allowed We requested to change our seats to a less lit place and it was granted. There was a delay in taking our orders. Food didn't take long to arrive, the temperature and plating was good. Some items on the menu that we wanted were not available, so we had to pick something else. The food tasted great. The ambience was amazing, the toilets were also very clean. Parking: Very big free parking lot
Went for a family dinner. 4 kids and 2 adults. Service was really polite and helpful. Not very quick though considering the restaurant was empty when we got there and a few people turned up while we were there. Only knives on the table so we had to go fetch some forks from other tables. The food was OK. Not really worth £135 which would have been the bill if we hadn’t had a voucher bought for us. The menu was basically steak, chicken, ribs or burgers with varying levels of sauce / hot sauce. Overpriced ping-food really. The restaurant itself was tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment. You can get much better food for less money in a much better environment elsewhere. Staff were excellent. Everything else not so much.
It was mine and my husbands first time at TGI Friday's and wow I absolutely loved it, My daughter and her partner go quite regular. I was blown away with the service our waiter he was absolutely amazing and funny,. We went for my daughters belated birthday meal and the waiter bless him got her a little cake with a candle and got the staff to sing to her, we didn't even ask for it, so thoughtful of him. I would honestly recommend going. Thanks for a great evening TGI Friday's we will be back soon
Extremely overpriced, portion sizes are minuscule see picture of quesadilla that was £18.00, and no nothing had already been eaten, in all extremely disappointing, signed up for the free dessert on their app and didn’t even bother ordering it, just wanted to get out of the place because the music was too loud. Not a good end to the day.
Scrumptious , yummy, delicious and can we talk about that mushroom loved it! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience today and our toddler approved of her chicken tenders and fries too and dug into one of the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Well done TGI Fridays Sheffield and special shoutout goes to Joel for being very kind, pleasant, professional with us and made us feel right at home.
